Replace your wilson nxt with a hybrid string

A recent string job.

A long time customer wanted to change up his string.  He generally likes the feel of the Wilson NXT 17g but was questioning the idea of going with either a natural gut string or a hybrid combination.  I discussed the main features of each, some disadvantages and spent time reviewing some viable options.  Working through some options is a great way to add that personal touch to your racket stringing business and keeps the client coming  back.

The client ended up choosing the Natural Gut for the main strings and wanted a polyester string for the crosses based on a friends suggestion.   The Natural gut in the mains will feel comfortable and the added crispness of the polyester will help provide some additional control.  I also want to make sure that I think about how the poly might bite into the natural gut and therefore I use the 16g natural gut and a smooth, thinner polyester such as Luxilon Timo 1.10.

Let me know your thoughts.
