Your Daily Beginning Racquet Stringer Q and A for Wednesday June 13

Q:  Can I remove the tennis racket from the machine before it is completely strung, can I remove it from the machine with only the strings partially installed?

A:  ABSOLUTELY NOT!  If you remove the tennis racket from the stringing machine before the main and cross strings are installed and strings tied off you WILL end up CRACKING THE FRAME or at best WARPING IT.  Once the racket is installed in the machine you cannot remove with only partially secured strings.  If you need to remove the racket for whatever reason such as because it wasn't secured properly, you will need to remove or release the pressure in the strings already installed.
