Djokovic wins and Loses today in Dubai

Day 1 in Dubai sure to serve up some high level tennis as The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships get underway for the 20th time at the Dubai Tennis Stadium.  8 of the top 10 ATP tour players are competing for part of the $1,700,475 prize money and 4 Time Winner Novak Djokovic is sure to be the front runner this week.

Results already in today for some top level players.  Novak Djokovic takes out Cedrik -Marcel Stebe in straight sets, Mardy Fish advances as he took out Andreas Beck with only losing 2 games.  As Novak is looking to make this his 5th victory at Dubai, his younger brother was looking to make his wild card pay off.  It was not to be today however, the young Djokovic went down in straight sets with winning just 5 games in the opening round.  The 20 year old Marko Djokovic has been battling wrist injury and at 869th ranked player is more comfortable in the futures arena at this time.
