Thursday Tennis in Cincy is all about the Top 3 Players on tour

Lots of anticipation leading into the US Open and all eyes are glued on World No.1 Novak Djokovic, the man that can do no wrong or at least can only win.  Rafael Nadal had a handful against the French qualifier but tomorrow will need more to beat a top 10 player such as Fernando Verdasco even though he has a perfect 11-0 record against him.  Novak should have an easier day as he faces a qualifier but this qualifier has been in the top ten himself so Novak better not count out Radak Stepanek just yet.

Roger Federer will take on American James Blake who slide in the tournament on a wild card.  Blake has beaten Federer on one occasion but Federer has taken Blake down on 9 showings.  Thursday you will also see Gael Monfils, Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych to name a few.

Another American Mardy Fish will get to play at the Grandstand and take on Richard Gasquet who he has beaten in straight sets twice before.  We are now in the round of 16 with 8 countries being represented here.  Be sure to check out the action online for live scoring.
