Keep your cross strings straight while stringing your next tennis racket

QUICK STRINGING TIP!

Keeping the cross strings tight and straight (perpendicular from the main strings) is not only to look more professional but it will keep you from losing tension. If you wait and straighten your strings when you are done with stringing the racket, you will find that some tension is lost, it might be slight but it does occur and the strings might feel loose to the touch. Keep each cross straight after stringing, this is much easier with a constant pull stringing machine because you can be having the machine pull the string while you keep it straight.
