How to sell tennis rackets when the grommets go bad

A players old favorite racket might have cracked grommets, broken headguard, and need of a restringing. Although it is possible to get out of date racket grommet and headguard kits, they are not always available and if they are the price might make it to expensive for the customer. An alternative to selling a new grommet kit might be to get the customer into a new frame. Compare the cost of restringing, new grommet kit removal and replacement cost along with a new grip and you could be looking at 80 dollars!.. Selling a new frame might be a better option for all involved. Just a thought I had today while thinking about grommets.
