write a stringing article each day in 2010

I have been receiving some emails lately and really want to keep the material in this blog fresh, applicable and useful for my visitors. Please let me know if you have any specific tennis questions or need clarification on tennis related issues.

In the next month I want to spend some time talking about racket stringing certification, some tips and I will give you some insight into the important things to know. THe United States Racket Stringing Associationis the governing body that administers and certifies racket stringers in the US.
1. Learn how to string tennis rackets-this basic first step needs to be taken seriously and knowing how to get racket strings into the racket and operating a stringing machine does not mean you are able to string rackets. Make sure to review books, videos and get some training or coaching from a certified stringer. This will take a year or more to get to the point where you can string rackets for others. 'Garage' stringers are a dime a dozen and everybody knows someone that has a so called 'stringing machine' and can string rackets. Tomorrow I will give you some resources that can help you learn racket stringing and get you started on the right foot.
